Description: Sanford J. Greenburger Associates is looking for two summer interns to assist Brenda Bowen and Matt Bialer.

We are looking for one intern to assist with Children’s books (mostly picture books through middle grade) and one intern to assist with Young Adult and Adult Fantasy and Science Fiction. In your cover letter, please specify your preference.

Responsibilities include:
- Reading manuscripts
- Writing reader’s reports
- Researching publishing houses, recent deals, and industry news
- Processing royalty statements

In addition to these responsibilities, interns will meet weekly with assistants for information sessions regarding the ins and outs of agenting and other facets of the publishing industry.

Length of Internship: Summer 2018
Requirements: We are seeking intern applicants who:
- Have a strong interest in publishing
- Have strong writing and communication skills
- Are detail-oriented and organized
- Have specific interest in and/or knowledge of Children’s and Young Adult publishing AND/OR specific interest in and/or knowledge of Adult Fantasy and Science Fiction
Location: New York, NY

Payment: Unpaid. Must be eligible for credit.
