Title: Marketing Assistant
Description: Big Honcho Media is looking for an entry level Marketing Assistant to provide administrative support to our team. This is a great opportunity to work on digital marketing campaigns for book publishers that include a variety of fiction, non-fiction, lifestyle, children’s and young adult titles.

The ideal candidate will be an independent worker with a meticulous eye for detail, outstanding follow-up and administrative skills, a personable demeanor, a passion for social media, and a love for books.
Requirements: Responsibilities

• Support project lead(s) on digital campaigns for our publishing clients.
• Assist in managing Influencer activations including but not limited to monitoring and tracking campaign performance and building reporting decks for our clients.

• Coordination of press mailings including outreach, managing addresses, and tracking & reporting.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining agency’s influencer database across multiple platforms including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Research and vet new potential partners on an ongoing basis.
• Interact with Influencers and clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Interest in and enthusiasm for book publishing.
• Proficiency with social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Fluency in Google Drive, and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
