Description: Do you crave beautiful books and the thrill of sharing them with the world?

Overcup Press, an award-winning independent publisher in Portland, OR, is seeking several passionate interns to join our dynamic team. We specialize in stunningly designed books for curious readers, encompassing contemporary art, travel, music, creative nonfiction, and architecture and design titles.

In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of our marketing, PR, and social media efforts:

*Craft captivating content: Write, edit, and schedule engaging blog posts and social media content that ignites reader interest. Develop evergreen content that keeps our channels buzzing.
*Become a social media guru: Assist with developing and implementing engaging social media strategies on our Facebook, X, Pinterest, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts – ensuring brand consistency and creating eye-catching content.

*Represent Overcup in the wild: Attend book events, capturing stellar social media content, engaging with attendees, and supporting our authors.

*Champion our books: Participate in bookstore and library outreach efforts, and even create enticing sales materials for Overcup and our imprint, Clyde.


Length of Internship: INTERNSHIP DURATION:
June 2, 2025 - August 15, 2025
Requirements: We're looking for a dedicated intern who:
*Is currently pursuing a degree in publishing, marketing, or a related field.
*Thrives in a collaborative and independent work environment.
*Has a contagious passion for the world of publishing.
*Is a social media ninja with a strong user perspective.
*Is comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Drive products.
(Bonus points) Has a flair for visual design!
Location: Portland, Oregon and Remote
Application Due Date: Rolling basis
Payment: Unpaid College credit available
