Company Name: LIBRARY OF CONGRESS
Company Location(s): Washington, DC
Description: As the nation’s oldest federal cultural institution, the Library of Congress is the guardian of the country’s memory. For more than 200 years, the Library has produced an increasing stream of pamphlets, monographs, books and other materials that open its ever-growing collections and activities to the nation and the world. Since the 1950s, the Library of Congress Publishing Office (LCPO) has evolved from an office established to disseminate Library news and produce books through the Government Printing Office to an organization that, in collaboration with its private-sector partners, publishes a wide range of materials based on the Library’s collections.
